Bubba’s Bar & Grille is located in the center of Newbury, NH on the southern tip of Lake Sunapee. There is a post office and a bank with 24 hour ATM next door. Right across the street is Newbury Beach and the Newbury Harbor Gazebo which features free concerts in the summer.
You can dock your boat at the town docks and walk across the street to Bubba’s. There is a two hour limit on tying up at the public docks.
The Fells Historic Estate & Gardens, 456 Route 103A, is a spectacular early 20th-century summer estate. Explore woodland trails along the shore of Lake Sunapee and enjoy the renowned gardens.
Skiing: Mount Sunapee Resort has the best skiing and snowboarding in Southern NH. After a day of skiing or riding Bubba’s is the perfect spot for après-ski.
Bob Skinner’s Ski & Sports, Rt 103, carries the region’s most extensive line of ski gear.
Hiking: The Newbury Trail runs 3 steep miles to the top of Mt. Sunapee. It is part of the SRKG Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge Greenway network of trails. The trailhead is located just around the corner from Bubba’s on Lake View Ave.
Snowmobiling: The New Hampshire Snowmobile Trails run right past Bubba’s. You can pull right into our parking lot and come in for a cup of coffee or a hot meal. Snowmobile trail maps are for sale at the front desk.
Fishing: The Tackle Shack located at 894 Route 103 can supply you with all all your fishing, hunting and outdoor needs.
Lodging: The Lake Inn at Mt. Sunapee (formerly Lakeview Motor Lodge) is located at the base of Mount Sunapee with breathtaking views of Lake Sunapee.

Sweet Maples Sugarhouse, 694 New Hampshire 103, is open 9-7 on the weekends in March and April. They offer tours, pure maple candy, pure maple syrup, and other treats!
